Wendell Anderson, owner of NorthStar Writing & Editing, is a full-time, professional writer, editor, consultant, and trainer with more than 25 years of experience in copyediting, content editing, wordsmithing, and writing. He specializes in language arts, education, health care, and business. 

Wendell is well versed in Chicago, APA, MLA, AMA, AP, and general business styles, as well as British and Canadian English grammar, spelling, punctuation, and usage.

His staff positions have included managing editor for The Business News, a semimonthly newspaper for the Lane County, Oregon, business community; and production editor and copyeditor for Crop Protection Magazine, an international farm publication. Wendell was also deputy editor for the UK edition of CPM.

Wendell has a B.A. in linguistics from the University of Minnesota. He is currently enrolled in a course to earn a certificate as a biomedical communicator through the American Medical Writers Association.

He is a member of National Council of Teachers of English, the Oregon Council of Teachers of English, the Editorial Freelancers Association, the Professional Editors Network, the Northwest Independent Editors Guild, and the American Medical Writers Association.

He lives in Eugene, Oregon, with Susan, his wife of 31 years.
